The Rod Metering Size Press (RMSP) is a coater that uses a film transfer method capable of surface sizing and pigment coating. The thickness of the coating liquid supplied to the applicator roll is controlled by a rod and is transferred to the paper at the nip between the applicators. The most important element of the coating head is that it has sufficient rigidity to ensure stable operation during the coating process and high-speed operation.
